Para-shooter
Simran Sharma was barely nine months old when she and her family met with an accident while trying to save a camel on the road. Simran suffered internal injuries; she had to undergo spinal surgery which left her paralysed. But, that didn’t deter her spirit. Today, 14-year-old Simran is a National level Para Rifle Shooter and has won 11 medals in last three nationals (six Gold, two Silver and 3 Bronze). She was also selected to participate in the Lima 2021 World Shooting Para Sport World Cup.
