National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People

National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) is a cross-disability, non-profit organization, working as an interface between the government, industry, international agencies, and the voluntary sector towards empowerment of persons with disabilities.

Its mission is to promote equality for people with disabilities in all spheres of life through research and advocacy around employment, education, accessibility, and communication.

NCPEDP has been the knowledge partner for the Samarth Hero Awards, an initiative by Hyundai, in partnership with NDTV.

Anthem

"Tu Soch", the rousing anthem of the initiative Samarth by Hyundai, reflects its true spirit. Penned by National Award-winning song writer Varun Grover and composed by Indian Ocean, the pioneers of fusion rock in India, the anthem celebrates the spirit of those with disabilities as they overcome challenges. Because disabilities that some of us have to live with should not define how we live, or what we can or cannot achieve.
