He left the badminton court with a twisted knee while playing in the National Doubles Championship in Udaipur and returned as the head coach of the Indian deaf badminton team producing national champions and Olympians. He has helped Para shuttlers win 972 international medals, including world championship golds. He is Gaurav Khanna, Head Coach of the Indian Para Badminton Team.
