New Delhi: From being bullied as a kid to becoming an entrepreneur, Aditi is a role model. Born with Down syndrome, Aditi faced many challenges. Her family doctor noticed early on that she was a special child. This difference, however, became her strength. Aditi, who owns two cafés in Mumbai, says,
“I started working at my parents’ office. My job revolved around data. This kind of work left me feeling bored and unfulfilled. Everything changed when I saw a tea vendor one day. It gave me an idea to start a café. My mother stood by me throughout.”

Aditi’s dream came true when she launched her first café in the year 2016. Her love for cooking and serving food quickly made her café the most favourite place in the entire neighbourhood. She says,
“I wanted a place where people felt welcomed and where I could share my passion for food.”
Today, she runs not one, but two popular cafés. Her journey as an entrepreneur shows that obstacles are just stepping stones.
Aditi’s love for cooking and hospitality is inspired by chef Vikas Khanna. Her startup also serves as a platform for people with disabilities to showcase their talents and achieve their dreams.
Aditi believes in empowering others and wants her cafés to be more than just places to eat. She sees them as community hubs where everyone feels valued and included. No wonder then that two of the servers at her café are people with disabilities.
As she continues to grow her business, Aditi is setting an example. Her life is a powerful reminder that nothing is impossible.
“If you can dream it, you can brew it,” Aditi says with a smile that has become a symbol of her strong spirit.
